Wayward Stitches

I’ve been a lifelong nerd and sewist. As an adult, I would sew off and on, but military commitment didn’t give me much time or energy to have a hobby. After leaving the military, I was suffering with PTSD and other health issues. I picked up sewing and embroidery again after my therapist told me to find a hobby I enjoy. Creating became a therapy for me. After a while, my SO said “We’re running out of space, so you can sell what you’ve been making or donate it.” Thus, Wayward Stitches was born. The name was inspired by Wayward Sisters from Supernatural.

I now create things via sewing and embroidery for all budgets. From small accessories & decor to plushies & bags. I have a lot of one of a kind items because I like to test my limits on what I and my machines can make together.
