Sweet Serenade Treats

For as long as I can remember, I have loved to cook and bake. My family is big on homecooked meals, a lot were made from scratch. I grew up watching everybody in family cook and bake and it inspired me from a young age. The first time I was able to help, it was for the sweet potato pie and I have been hooked since. That was at least 15 years ago. In between years, the homecooked meals were every other day. Last year, I got the urge to make everything from scratch especially seeing the ingredients in foods. Not even real butter is being used! No wonder food doesn't taste right anymore.
