High Volt Hooks

What started as a hobby to connect to my maternal grandmother who means the world to me, quickly became an escape from the stresses of life in my late 20s/early 30s, especially as I find out new things about my mental and physical health. Crocheting allows me to keep my hands and mind busy while also creating something beautiful, and this is the reasoning my grandma often gave for why crochet is so great.

With crochet, like almost anything, there are endless possibilities, and this gave me space to create my own shop to sell the items I enjoy making while thinking of my grandma.

Sadly my grandma couldn’t teach me when I became old enough to want to learn, as her hands and mind have deteriorated with a well-lived life. But while she didn’t teach me how to crochet, she did pass on a hefty stash of yarn and the knowledge that I hold my crochet hook like her. So I will keep holding my hook like her, for her, and hopefully I can make something beautiful for you to enjoy too!
