Soul on Canvas by Dottie

I stumbled upon being able to express my emotions through art. I experimented with trying to paint people, animals and outdoor scenes, but didn't feel any connection. I wasn't able to capture their true essence.

During my experimental phase with trying different mediums and tools to create art, I found not having any idea of what I was going to paint brought me the results I was looking for. It brought me joy.

Then, I started to really look into each piece of art at different angles and discovered meaning in them. I noticed images within this abstract type of art I was creating. It was like finding forms in clouds and textured surfaces. This is what brought me more excitement in creating from within.
